You will support accounting and HR tasks, handle wage deductions, garnishments, and reporting, maintain confidential payroll records, and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of payroll administration experience.
• Hands-on experience with ADP Workforce Now required.
• Strong knowledge of payroll processing and timekeeping systems.
• Basic accounting/bookkeeping knowledge required.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and payroll/accounting software.

Responsibilities

• Process weekly, biweekly, or semi-monthly payroll accurately and on time using ADP Workforce Now.
• Manage and reconcile employee time and attendance records to ensure payroll accuracy.
• Process payroll deductions, benefits, garnishments, taxes, and wage adjustments.
• Handle union payroll processing, including union dues, benefits contributions, and compliance reporting.
• Perform basic accounting and bookkeeping functions, including reconciliations and payroll-related journal entries.
• Support accounts payable/accounts receivable as needed.
• Assist with payroll reporting and maintain accurate employee payroll records.
• Provide support with HR-related functions, including onboarding, employee updates, benefits administration, and payroll inquiries.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
