Job summary

SMS group is seeking a Corporate Payroll Specialist to take full ownership of our bi-weekly payroll processing and ADP Workforce Now optimization. You will ensure compliance with local, state, and federal employment laws while serving as the subject matter expert for HCM data, configuration, and reporting.

The role requires strong ADP expertise, meticulous data handling, and the ability to support remote sites and HR personnel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required with 3–5 years related experience.
• Minimum of four years’ experience using payroll software and processing payroll.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and process company-wide bi-weekly payroll.
• Act as Subject Matter Expert for HCM data, system configuration and reporting.
• Manage employee and manager self-service features in the payroll system.
• Process status changes and updates in ADP system.
• Assist with benefit enrollments and open enrollment transfers.
• Support clock/time/attendance issues with ADP and Certify.
