Job description

Responsibilities

• Payroll & Expenses: Process multi-state bi-weekly and monthly payrolls, manual off-cycle payments, and monthly employee expense reimbursements.
• System Administration: Manage data entry, benefits/deductions, and 401(k) elections in ADP (WorkForce Now).
• Financial Reconciliation: Enter and reconcile payroll journal entries and general ledgers in Workday; reconcile monthly bank statements.
• Compliance & Audits: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws. Administer garnishments and support year-end processing and annual corporate audits.
• Support: Resolve employee payroll/reimbursement inquiries and support HR/Finance team projects.

Qualifications

• Experience: 3–8 years of multi-state payroll experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Systems: Hands-on proficiency with ADP WorkForce Now and Workday.
• Technical Skills: Strong Microsoft Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables) and knowledge of tax/labor regulations.
• Core Skills: High attention to detail, strong communication across all corporate levels, and strict handling of confidential data.
