Qualifications

• <li>High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or higher preferred.</li>
• <li>Experience in payroll processing or accounting in transportation/warehousing.</li>
• <li>Strong knowledge of ACA compliance and payroll regulations.</li>
• <li>Proficient data entry and general ledger/journal entries.</li>
• <li>Familiarity with bank reconciliations and payroll software.</li>

Responsibilities

• Process and verify employee payroll data accurately and on schedule.
• Ensure ACA compliance and maintain related documentation.
• Perform data entry for payroll transactions, invoices, and financial records.
• Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger for payroll activities.
• Conduct bank reconciliations to verify payroll disbursements and resolve discrepancies.
• Manage records for Family Medical Leave and other employee leave programs.
• Collaborate with HR and finance to resolve payroll discrepancies and inquiries.
• Maintain confidentiality and security of payroll information.
