What you’ll do as a Payroll Specialist

• Process payroll accurately and timely, adhering to federal and state laws
• Assist with payroll accounting, transactions, reporting, and stop payments
• Review payroll reports and timesheets for accuracy
• Respond promptly to payroll inquiries

What you’ll need

• Be 18 years or older
• Authorization to work in the U.S.
• Ability to perform essential duties satisfactorily
• Associate's degree or equivalent experience
• Ability to interpret documents, write reports, and communicate effectively
• Basic math skills including algebra and geometry
• Knowledge of accounting, HR, payroll, and software systems
• Physical ability to perform required tasks

Physical abilities & exposures

• Routinely: sitting, keyboard/mouse use, standing, walking
• Occasionally: lifting up to 40 lbs, carrying 25 lbs

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
• Fast learner, tech-savvy
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel and Word skills

Salary Range: $25 - $28 per hour
