El Dorado County Office of Education in Placerville, CA is seeking a Payroll Specialist to join our Business Services team. Under general supervision, you will prepare and process payrolls for multiple departments and programs, ensuring accuracy and compliance with district policies.

Qualifications

Job Summary

This recruitment will be used to form an eligibility list. The eligibility list will be active for a period of six months and will be utilized to fill current and future vacancies in this classification. Under general supervision of the Director or Manager of Business Services, performs complex payroll functions to prepare and process payroll(s) for assigned county office of education departments and programs.

Requirements / Qualifications

Experience/Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Two years of payroll or related experience, preferably within an education or public agency setting, or education at a level to demonstrate the skill or ability to perform the duties and responsibilities as described.
