Job summary

El Dorado County Office of Education is seeking a Child Development Classroom Assistant II - Western Slope. Under the Head Start teacher, you will assist daily activities and experiences to support school readiness in line with federal, state and COE guidelines.

Bilingual (Spanish–English) candidates are encouraged to apply; a bilingual stipend is available upon proficiency. The position is part-time, with a typical schedule of 8 hours per day, 5 days per week, 10 months per year.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and Associate Teacher Permit or Associate of Arts degree in Child Development, Early Childhood Education or related field. Must meet Title 22 licensing standards.
• Experience in Early Care and Education programs within the last three years preferred.
• Bilingual/Spanish-English speaking candidates are encouraged to apply.
• A copy of your transcript must be submitted with the application for verification of ECE units.
