The El Dorado County Office of Education is seeking a part-time Classroom Assistant I for our Child Development Program in South Lake Tahoe. You will assist in learning, recreation, and personal care activities for children aged 3 to 5 under teacher supervision.

Initial salary placement is on the first step of range.
5 hours per day, 5 days per week, 192 days per year, 10 months per year

Purpose Statement: Under direction of a teacher assigned to a Child Development program, assists in carrying out learning, recreation, and personal care activities for children ages 3, 4, or 5 years old, following state, federal, and County Office of Education guidelines. Experience: Prior successful experience interacting with children and adults. Education: High School diploma or equivalent. Bilingual/Spanish-English speaking candidates are encouraged to apply. Bilingual stipend available upon completion/passing of proficiency exam.
