Job summary

IFG Pittsburgh is actively recruiting a Payroll Specialist responsible for preparing and processing multi-state, international, and domestic salaried and hourly payrolls. The Payroll Specialist will also assist with off-cycle payroll runs, W-2 processing, garnishment maintenance, and work closely with the HR department.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, 3–5 years of payroll experience, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills; CPP or FPC certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.
• 3 to 5 years of Payroll experience.
• CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) or FPC (Fundamental Payroll Certification) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform gross-to-net payroll processing and adjustment activities.
• Process benefit and retirement adjustments that require payroll input.
• Assist with payroll management inquiry queue and ticketing system queue.
• Follow-up on inquiries, perform research and analysis, and ensure accurate resolution.
