Job summary

IFG International Financial Group Ltd is seeking a Senior Payroll Specialist to manage weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff in a multi-state environment. You will assist the Payroll Manager with bi-weekly payrolls, reconcile system issues, and maintain data integrity through regular audits.

The role requires strong knowledge of payroll regulations, tax compliance, and reporting, plus advanced Excel skills and experience with HRIS/timekeeping systems.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a high-volume, multi-state environment.
• Advanced knowledge of payroll regulations and tax compliance.
• Proficiency with payroll systems and advanced Excel skills.
• Experience processing payroll for both salary and hourly employees.
• Understanding of benefits/deductions, garnishments, taxation, and reporting.

Responsibilities of the Senior Payroll Specialist

• Process payroll weekly for both hourly and salary employees.
• Assist Payroll Manager with processing bi-weekly payroll for hourly employees.

• Follows standard payroll processes and guidelines; complies with various state laws and regulations.

Requirements of the Senior Payroll Specialist

• Five (5) plus years of experience in a high-volume, multi-state environment.
• Advanced knowledge of payroll regulations, tax compliance, and hospitality wage requirements.
• Proficiency in payroll systems and advanced Excel skills.
• Process payroll for both Salary and hourly employees
• Understanding of general payroll practices and laws including benefits/deductions, garnishments, taxation, and reporting.
