You will assist the Payroll Manager with bi-weekly payrolls, reconcile system issues, and maintain data integrity through regular audits.

The role requires strong knowledge of payroll regulations, tax compliance, and reporting, plus advanced Excel skills and experience with HRIS/timekeeping systems.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a high-volume, multi-state environment.
• Advanced knowledge of payroll regulations and tax compliance.
• Proficiency with payroll systems and advanced Excel skills.
• Experience processing payroll for both salary and hourly employees.
• Understanding of benefits/deductions, garnishments, taxation, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Process weekly payroll for both hourly and salary employees.
• Assist Payroll Manager with processing bi-weekly payroll for hourly employees.
• Reconcile issues with payroll systems and information.
• Perform weekly/daily audit of incoming information for data integrity.
• Prepare payroll reports from HRIS and timekeeping systems.
• Answer employee questions and investigate issues promptly.
• Follow standard payroll processes and compliance with state laws.
