Job summary

Infinite Care Consulting Services is a leading management and consulting firm focused on transforming the skilled nursing industry across 60+ facilities and multiple corporate offices in New York, New Jersey, and Florida. We seek a payroll professional to ensure accurate, on-time processing and to implement best practices and workflow improvements.

This role handles weekly, biweekly, monthly payrolls, audits payroll runs, manages timekeeping, and maintains compliance with federal and state

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in long term care payroll.
  • Minimum 2 years managing and processing exempt and non-exempt payroll.
  • Experience consolidating payroll for acquired companies.
  • Process and workflow improvements in payroll processes.

Responsibilities

  • Process all payroll accurately for weekly, biweekly, and monthly cycles including incentives.
  • Oversee daily payroll operations and biweekly payroll processing.
  • Ensure payroll is compliant with government regulations and company policies.
  • Manage payroll transactions (hires, terms), benefits, garnishments, taxes and deductions.
  • Administer electronic timekeeping using the payroll platform.
  • Establish audit processes to verify payroll accuracy.
  • Review timesheets for completeness and accuracy.
  • Stay current on federal/state payroll regulation changes and notify relevant departments.
  • Serve as primary contact for escalated payroll inquiries and external requests.
  • Provide support to staff related to payroll and staffing.
  • Help ensure facilities operate within HPPD budgets and staffing plans.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Description:

Responsible for the day-to-day function ensuring accurate and on time payroll processing. The role requires a payroll professional who has successfully implemented best pay practices and workflow improvements resulting in accurate and timely processing of payroll.

Major Duties and Critical Tasks:
  • Responsible for accurate and timely processing all payroll to include weekly, biweekly, and monthly, quarterly, annual incentives.
  • Manage the daily operations for this function as well as oversee processing of biweekly payroll.
  • Ensure payroll is processed timely, accurately, and in compliance with government regulations and company policies.
  • Ensures timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions (hires, terms, etc.) including benefits, garnishments, taxes, and other deductions.
  • Administer and manage electronic timekeeping utilizing the payroll platform.
  • Establish audit process to verify accuracy of payroll runs.
  • Review timesheets for completeness and accuracy.
  • Stays current on the latest federal or state payroll regulation changes. Notify the appropriate departments of any changes.
  • Serve as primary contact for all escalated payroll related inquiries. Respond to external payroll data or report requests from government agencies and government/ external auditor.
  • Provide support and guidance to direct reports as it relates to payroll and Staffing.
  • Responsible for ensuring the facilities are within HPPD budgets.
  • Oversees facility HPPD, agency staffing use, staffing calls master schedule reviews and other aspects of Labor Management.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Education and Experience:
  • Must have, as a minimum (1) year experience in long term care.
  • Minimum of two (2) years managing and responsible for processing exempt and non- exempt payroll.
  • Demonstrated success incorporating payroll of acquired companies.
  • Process and workflow improvement of payroll processes.

  • Demonstrated success in implementing new or efficient workflows that have resulted in enhanced payroll processes.
