Qualifications

• 3+ years of payroll processing and payroll accounting experience.
• Strong multi-state payroll experience required.
• CPP certification a plus.
• ADP or Paylocity experience a plus.
• Understanding of payroll reconciliations, journal entries, and payroll accounting processes.

Responsibilities

• Process end-to-end, in-house payroll for employees across multiple states.
• Ensure accurate payroll calculations including earnings, deductions, garnishments, taxes, and adjustments.
• Manage and reconcile payroll-related general ledger accounts.
• Handle multi-state payroll tax compliance, filings, and payroll tax research.
• Partner with HR and Accounting to ensure payroll accuracy and compliance.
• Support month-end and year-end payroll processes including W-2 preparation and audits.
• Maintain payroll records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive employee information.
• Assist with process improvements and payroll best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Process end-to-end, in-house payroll for employees across multiple states(GA, FL, SC, NC, AL, and TX)
• Ensure accurate payroll calculations including earnings, deductions, garnishments, taxes, and adjustments
