Job summary

Addison Group in Centennial, CO is seeking a Payroll Specialist to support end-to-end payroll for 2,000+ employees. In-office role with focus on accuracy, timely processing, and data integrity across HR and Accounting systems.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of payroll experience, a relevant bachelor’s degree, and strong knowledge of payroll tax rules. Proficiency in Paycom, NetSuite, and Excel is required. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist with end-to-end payroll processing for all employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Calculate wages, overtime, bonuses, deductions, and benefits accurately.
• Verify and maintain employee time records, attendance, and leave balances.
• Complete employee onboarding and process terminations within payroll systems.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations, including tax withholdings.
• Prepare and distribute payroll reports and required tax filings, including W-2s, 1099s, and other related documents.
• Stay informed of changes to payroll laws, tax rates, and regulatory requirements.
• Support internal and external audits and assist with payroll-related reporting as needed.
• Manage employment verifications and respond to employee payroll-related inquiries.
• Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date payroll records in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
• Partner with HR and Accounting teams to ensure accurate integration of payroll data across systems.
• Assist with year-end payroll processing, reconciliation, and reporting.

Salary: $60,000-70,000 annually, based on experience

The Payroll Specialist will support end-to-end payroll processing for our workforce of 2,000+ employees. This role ensures accurate, timely, and compliant payroll operations while partnering closely with HR and Accounting to maintain data integrity across systems.

Requirements

• 2+ years of payroll processing experience, preferably in a mid-to-large organization
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Human Resources, or related field preferred
• Strong knowledge of payroll tax regulations and compliance requirements
