Job summary

The Bachrach Group is seeking a Payroll Specialist for a construction company to manage weekly payroll in ADP Workforce Now, including union payroll, wage rates, and fringe reporting.

You will prepare certified payroll reports for public works, ensure compliance with Davis-Bacon and state wage acts, handle deductions, reconcile with GL, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll accurately and on time in ADP Workforce Now
• Process union payroll across multiple union agreements, including wage rates, benefit contributions, and fringe benefit reporting
• Prepare and submit weekly certified payroll reports
• Maintain compliance with federal Davis-Bacon requirements, the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act, and public works payroll rules
• Process union deductions, dues, and contributions for pension, health and welfare, and other funds
• Reconcile payroll to the general ledger and prepare journal entries
• Enter and review payroll data with a high degree of accuracy
• Analyze financial data, identify discrepancies, and resolve payroll issues
• Manage multiple deadlines and responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
