Job summary

Ascendo Resources, LLC in Bensalem, PA is seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to manage weekly payroll processing for ~100 employees, including union field workers and office staff. You will ensure accurate, timely payroll, and maintain compliance with prevailing wage and certified payroll requirements.

You will report to the Finance Controller, use ADP Workforce Now and Excel, and handle deductions, reports, reconciliations, and collaboration across departments.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of payroll processing experience.
• Experience with union construction payroll.
• Knowledge of prevailing wage and certified payroll reporting.
• Familiarity with Davis-Bacon and PA Prevailing Wage Act.
• Experience with union wage rates, fringe benefits, and payroll reporting.
• Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now and Excel.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to meet weekly payroll deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Process weekly payroll for ~100 employees, including union field and office staff.
• Prepare and submit weekly certified payroll reports.
• Ensure compliance with prevailing wage regulations and Davis-Bacon.
• Manage union deductions, pension contributions, and health/welfare payments.
• Maintain accurate payroll records and timely reporting.
• Utilize ADP Workforce Now and Excel to process payroll.
• Review data for discrepancies and resolve issues.
• Assist with payroll reconciliations and general ledger activities.
