Job summary

Toyota North America is seeking a Payroll Senior Manager to lead payroll delivery, time and labor administration, compliance, and payroll technology across North America. You will oversee payroll operations for 55,000+ teammates and lead a 30-person payroll team from Plano, Texas.

Reporting to the General Manager, Central Business Services, you will drive the payroll strategic roadmap, vendor governance, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives in partnership with HR,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.
• Extensive experience in payroll, time and labor, HR or finance operations in a large multi-state/multi-country organization.
• Experience leading payroll operations, compliance activities, and service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead Payroll Operations and Service Delivery across North America with oversight of providers and SLAs.
• Develop and mentor a high-performing payroll team of 30 professionals.
• Govern payroll systems and time & labor platforms ensuring regulatory compliance and system integrity.
• Drive payroll case management, issue resolution, and data-driven improvements.
• Direct payroll transformation initiatives including automation and standardization.
• Ensure SOX controls, data governance, and tax/garnishment administration compliance.
