Job summary

Quality Talent Group in Wisconsin is seeking an experienced Senior Payroll Operations Manager to lead large-scale payroll system implementations and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

You will develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets, coordinate with IT, Finance, HR, and external vendors, and manage risk to deliver accurate payroll across the organization in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of payroll operations experience.
• 3+ years of project management experience.
• Proven track record of successfully implementing payroll systems.
• Strong knowledge of payroll tax laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead large-scale payroll system implementations, upgrades, and enhancement projects.
• Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets for payroll initiatives.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams including IT, Finance, HR, and external vendors.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
• Manage risk assessment and develop mitigation strategies for payroll projects.
