The ideal candidate will have five years of relevant experience, including supervisory responsibilities and payroll garnishments, with a strong emphasis on process improvement and data integrity.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Supervise payroll operations for approximately 2,800 union employees (weekly) and 2,300 pension employees (monthly).
• Audit and analyze time submissions, hours worked, and payroll data for accuracy and compliance.
• Generate and review reports to support audits and process improvements.
• Collaborate with HR, Labor Relations, Finance, IT and external partners such as ADP.
• Assist Payroll Manager with daily operations and new process implementation.
• Troubleshoot payroll issues related to pay codes, PTO, pension, holidays and ADP functions.
• Ensure GL accuracy and coordinate with Finance on payroll-related transactions.
• Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and enhance customer service.
