Job summary

Sunbelt Solomon is seeking a Payroll Supervisor to lead payroll operations across the organization. The role partners with HR, Finance, Benefits, and leaders to drive process improvements, governance, and payroll technology optimization.

The position manages a high-performing payroll team, enhances efficiency, strengthens controls, and mitigates risk while supporting growth and strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field required.
• 5-7 years of progressive payroll experience.
• 2-3 years of leadership or supervisory experience.
• Experience with payroll, HRIS, timekeeping, and workforce management systems.
• ADP and UKG Ready experience beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end payroll operations, ensuring timely and accurate processing of all payroll cycles.
• Establish service standards, performance metrics, and operational controls to support payroll excellence.
• Develop scalable payroll processes that support growth, acquisitions, and workforce changes.
• Oversee payroll audits, tax filings, reconciliations, and regulatory reporting activities.
• Partner with Legal, HR, and Finance to address compliance risks and legislative changes.
