Healthcare Nursing Center in Ohio is seeking a Payroll Supervisor to oversee the entire payroll cycle, from data entry to payment processing, and to ensure timely, accurate compensation for staff.

You will collaborate with HR and accounting, stay current with tax rules, and manage vendor relationships while leading a small payroll team and maintaining compliance across regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience in payroll processing and management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with accuracy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to work with HR and accounting.
• Familiarity with payroll software and systems; quick learners.
• Certifications in CPP/CPA or FPC/FPSA preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily payroll operations including data entry and record-keeping.
• Coordinate payroll with HR and accounting to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Develop relationships with vendors and banks to meet regulatory requirements.
• Perform complex payroll calculations including taxes and deductions.
• Resolve payroll issues promptly to minimize operational impact.
• Provide responsive support to employees and management on payroll inquiries.
• Stay current with changes in payroll regulations and best practices.
