Safeway is seeking a Personnel Coordinator Bookkeeper (PCB) to support store operations with accurate cash handling, payroll processing, and coordinating recruiting and onboarding activities.

You will manage daily financial transactions, ensure compliance with company policies, and assist with employee-related tasks in a fast-paced environment. Strong detail orientation, reliability and clear communication are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Experience in cash handling, reconciliation and financial recordkeeping.
• Familiarity with timekeeping systems, payroll processing, and onboarding tasks.
• Proficiency in basic math and computer systems including spreadsheets and POS.

Responsibilities

• Handle daily cash office tasks and financial transactions.
• Process payroll and assist with HR onboarding and leave tracking.
• Support recruiting and onboarding activities for store staff.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and AML/lottery regulations.
