SNFout in Brooklyn, NY is seeking a Payroll Manager to oversee all payroll processing, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance within a nonprofit environment.

The role collaborates with HR and Finance to maintain payroll integrity, handle year-end reporting, and respond to audits. Qualified candidates have 3–5 years of payroll experience, strong knowledge of wage laws, and proficiency with UKG Ready. On-site with hybrid options.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of payroll administration experience, preferably in a nonprofit or multi-site organization.
• Bachelor’s degree in related field required.
• Experience managing payroll for a workforce with grants funding strongly preferred.
• Proficiency with payroll systems, preferably UKG Ready.
• High level of accuracy, confidentiality, and problem-solving skills.

Responsabilités

• Process payroll accurately and on schedule in compliance with laws and policies.
• Manage end-to-end payroll processing for salaried, hourly, and grant-funded employees.
• Review payroll registers, tax filings, and wage payments prior to submission.
• Maintain payroll calendars and year-end processing.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and wage/hour regulations.
• Oversee payroll tax filings, W-2s, 1099s, and related reports.
• Coordinate with HR on onboarding, offboarding, and status changes.
• Reconcile payroll accounts and support general ledger postings.
