Job summary

Kukulu LLC, with a corporate office in Honolulu, Hawaii, is seeking a payroll professional to oversee the payroll process and ensure timely and accurate processing.

You will collaborate with Human Resources and Project Managers, handle payroll taxes with ADP, process PTO payouts, retro pay, bonuses, and 401k contributions. Minimum 3-5 years payroll experience and a Bachelor's degree in HR or Accounting are required; benefits include PTO, sick leave, holiday leave, and more.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in Human Resources or Accounting.
• 3-5 years of payroll experience.
• Experience with ADP and payroll tax issues.
• Detail oriented with quality and accuracy focus.
• Strong Excel skills and ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Oversee payroll processing weekly, bi-weekly and semi-monthly.
• Act as payroll tax issue contact with authorities (ADP/IRS).
• Coordinate with HR and project managers on payroll issues.
• Communicate payroll information to employees.
• Reconcile 401k contributions and matching each pay period.
• Support year-end audit and 401k compliance testing.
• Explore efficiency improvements and software options.
