Location: Rockland, MA
Schedule: Fully Onsite, Monday–Friday
Compensation: $75,000–$80,000
Start Date: ASAP

Responsibilities

• Manage the full bi-weekly payroll process for an employee population of approximately 300
• Enter and review employee hours, payroll adjustments, incentives, commissions, tips, and other payroll-related data
• Prepare, process, and approve payroll through ADP
• Reconcile payroll registers and supporting data to ensure accuracy
• Maintain payroll, salary, and accrual spreadsheets
• Prepare and distribute payroll reports and related documentation
• Coordinate payroll-related updates and personnel changes with Human Resources
• Calculate and process 401(k) contributions and applicable company matches
• Maintain compliance with applicable wage, benefit, and payroll regulations
• Support payroll rate changes and other periodic updates
• Identify opportunities to improve payroll processes, accuracy, and efficiency
• Assist with other accounting and payroll-related projects as needed

Qualifications

• 5+ years of payroll experience
• Experience processing payroll for a similarly sized organization
• Strong experience with ADP Workforce Now
• Advanced Excel skills and experience working with detailed spreadsheets
• QuickBooks experience preferred
• Accounting or related degree preferred, but not required
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines independently
