Job summary

Coconino County Sheriff's Office (Patrol) is seeking an HR Specialist to join a collaborative, innovative team in Flagstaff. You will manage payroll data entry in Tyler Munis and support onboarding and training programs for supervisors.

You will handle HRIS tasks, prepare reports, and assist at the front desk while maintaining confidentiality and delivering excellent service to employees and departments countywide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human resources, public administration or related field and one year of HR administrative experience; OR Associate degree and two years of HR admin experience; OR three years HR admin experience; OR any combination demonstrating ability to perform duties.
• Must have extensive payroll data experience and excellent Excel skills.
• HRIS experience required, preferably with Tyler Munis, and ability to generate reports.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll and related HRIS data entry.
• Coordinate new employee onboarding and orientations.
• Assist with recruitment advertisements, postings and bill payments.
• Prepare reports and statistical data for performance measures.
• Support front desk/reception and other HR functions as needed.
