Coconino County, AZ is seeking a Human Resources Specialist to support day-to-day HR administration in Flagstaff, with hybrid work available. In this role, you will handle HRIS-based payroll and demographic data, assist with the coordination of county programs and supervisory academies, and support new employee orientation activities.

The position involves moderate-difficulty administrative work across multiple HR functions under general supervision, including data accuracy checks and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, public administration or a related field required.
• One year of HR administrative experience with a Bachelor’s degree or two years with an Associate degree; or three years overall.
• Non-exempt from overtime.

Responsabilités

• Use HRIS to perform payroll processing and maintain demographic data.
• Coordinate hiring tracking and onboarding across onboarding areas.
• Assist New Employee Orientation I and II.
• Compile statistics and trends for performance measures and reports.
• Assist at reception and support all HR functional areas.
