Job summary

Coconino County is seeking an HR Specialist to join the Human Resources Department. The role focuses on entering payroll and demographic data in the Tyler Munis HRIS, coordinating onboarding, and producing HR reports for performance measures.

Occasional travel to county outlying areas may be required and remote work is possible after training. The ideal candidate has payroll data experience, strong Excel, and excellent organizational and customer service skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human resources, public administration or a related field.
• Associate degree in human resources, public administration or a related field; or three years of HR admin experience.

Responsibilities

• Enter payroll and demographic information in Tyler Munis HRIS.
• Coordinate New Employee Orientation I & II and onboarding.
• Prepare reports and statistics for performance measures.
• Support all functional areas and assist at reception desk.
• Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
