Job summary

The Arc of San Diego is seeking an experienced HRIS & Payroll Manager to ensure accurate, timely payroll processing and to maintain trusted employee data across the organization. You will work closely with Human Resources, Finance, and leadership to deliver payroll, HRIS administration, and reporting while supporting benefits and open enrollment with a focus on data integrity and service excellence.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of progressive payroll experience across multiple departments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, HR or related field.
• Experience with HRIS systems; Dayforce preferred.
• CPP credential is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process end-to-end semi-monthly payroll using Dayforce.
• Maintain employee payroll/HRIS data with accuracy.
• Create and analyze payroll, benefits, and compliance reports.
• Administer deductions, retirement plan funding, and payroll taxes.
• Support benefits open enrollment and vendor reconciliations.
• Collaborate with leaders to resolve payroll and HRIS questions.
• Identify automation opportunities to improve HR/payroll processes.
