Job summary

STgenetics is seeking a Payroll & HRIS Analyst to manage hands-on payroll processing, HRIS data integrity, and related financial reconciliations using Dayforce. You will serve as the bridge between HR, Finance, IT, and vendors, ensuring data accuracy, controls, and timely reporting across locations.

The role emphasizes investigating discrepancies, coordinating with vendors, and documenting requirements while partnering with IT on integrations and security to support scalable HR operations.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in payroll, HRIS, payroll accounting, HR operations, or a closely related field.
• Multi-state U.S. payroll experience is strongly preferred.
• Experience with HRIS or payroll platforms and troubleshooting data issues.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent relevant experience considered.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, and data reconciliation.

Responsibilities

• Process and support accurate payroll, including bonuses, deductions, garnishments, and other employee payments.
• Review payroll reports and control totals to identify discrepancies before finalization.
• Perform payroll reconciliations and investigate discrepancies in pay, deductions, tax, and data.
• Support federal, state, and local payroll tax compliance and respond to notices and inquiries.
• Work with Dayforce, payroll tax vendors, and government agencies to resolve tax setup and reporting issues.
• Assist with quarter-end and year-end payroll processes and related filings.
• Maintain payroll documentation, audit support, and internal controls.
