Job summary

RugsUSA, LLC. seeks a Payroll and HR Operations professional to own end-to-end payroll across multiple states and lead HR technology initiatives with a focus on Rippling. This role drives accurate pay, data integrity, and scalable processes for our corporate and distribution center populations.

You will partner with HR, Finance, IT, and Operations to optimize workflows, produce recurring HR metrics, and support compliance documentation and audits for a growing e-commerce workforce.

Qualifications

• Experience with Rippling payroll is strongly preferred.
• Experience in ecommerce/retail/distribution multi-location environments.
• Experience with payroll system implementations or conversions and audits.
• Experience developing payroll and HR SOPs, onboarding materials, manager toolkits, or internal knowledge libraries.
• CPP/PHR/SHRM-CP or CEBS certification preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish skills preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end payroll processing for corporate and distribution center employees across multiple states.
• Ensure payroll compliance with federal, state, and local wage and hour requirements.
• Partner with DC HR on timekeeping, attendance, and payroll accuracy for hourly employees.
• Perform payroll reconciliations and support general ledger entries with Finance; manage year-end processing (W-2s).
• Serve as Rippling administrator and optimize workflows, reporting, automations, and system communications.
• Develop and maintain SOPs, process maps, templates, and employee resources for HR programs.
