Job summary

RugsUSA in New York, NY, seeks a Payroll and HR Operations Manager to own end-to-end payroll processing, HR systems, and benefits administration across corporate and distribution center populations. You will partner with cross-functional teams to ensure accuracy, compliance, and data integrity while optimizing Rippling workflows.

Qualifications

• Experience with Rippling payroll and HRIS.
• Multi-state payroll processing experience across corporate and hourly populations.
• Experience developing payroll and HR SOPs, onboarding materials, and manager toolkits.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end payroll processing for multiple states and employee populations.
• Ensure payroll compliance with federal, state, and local requirements.
• Administer benefits and 401(k) programs; manage open enrollment and reporting.
• Configure and optimize Rippling workflows, permissions, and reports.
• Maintain payroll controls, audit trails, and documentation.
