Job summary

RugsUSA is seeking a Payroll and HR Operations professional to own end-to-end payroll across multi-state teams in a NYC hybrid environment.

You will optimize Rippling, ensure compliance, and partner with Finance, IT, and HR to support accurate, timely payroll and comprehensive HR data across RugsUSA’s corporate and distribution centers. This role focuses on scalable processes and impactful reporting for leadership.

Qualifications

• Experience with Rippling payroll system.
• Experience in multi-state payroll and payroll tax compliance.
• Ability to develop payroll/HR SOPs and onboarding materials.
• CPP/PHR/SHRM-CP or related certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end payroll processing for corporate and distribution center employees across multiple states.
• Ensure payroll compliance with federal, state, and local requirements.
• Configure and administer Rippling and related HR tech platforms; optimize workflows.
• Collaborate with HR, Finance, IT, and Operations to improve payroll processes.
• Maintain payroll controls, audit trails, and reporting for compliance.
