Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Long-Term Care, Skilled Nursing, healthcare, or a related setting.
• Minimum 1 year of Payroll and/or Human Resources experience.
• Experience processing payroll and maintaining employee records.
• Working knowledge of payroll compliance, wage and hour regulations, and employment laws.
• Experience with payroll software and HRIS systems preferred.
• Strong conflict resolution, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Ability to communicate professionally with employees at all levels of the organization.
• Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• High level of integrity and ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Process accurate and timely payroll for facility employees.
• Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local wage and hour laws.
• Review timecards, resolve payroll discrepancies, and audit payroll reports.
• Coordinate new hire onboarding, orientation, and employee paperwork.
• Maintain employee personnel files and HR documentation.
• Assist with benefits administration and employee leave documentation.
• Serve as a resource for employees regarding payroll, benefits, and HR-related questions.
• Support employee engagement, retention, and recognition initiatives.
• Help resolve employee concerns professionally while maintaining confidentiality.
• Demonstrate strong conflict resolution skills and work collaboratively with department leaders to address workplace concerns.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and employment regulations.
• Assist with HR reporting, audits, and regulatory documentation.
• Partner with department managers to support staffing, hiring, and employee development.
• Maintain HRIS and payroll system accuracy.
• Perform additional administrative and HR duties as assigned.
