Job summary

Corebridge Financial is seeking a Payroll Data Specialist in Houston to own the data conversion lifecycle from requirements to deployment. You will design solutions, perform unit testing, and maintain conversions for client data into Corebridge systems.

Responsibilities include identifying data deficiencies, remediating issues, and building tools to transform large datasets. The role requires collaboration with record-keepers, project teams, and data end users in a hybrid work setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred or any combination of education and experience which provide an equivalent background.
• Minimum 2+ years work experience in payroll and/or data analysis.
• Retirement plan knowledge preferred.
• Knowledge of business analysis and ability to understand the logic behind data, including its origin and end purpose.
• Experience in MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent communication skills—written, verbal and interpersonal.
• Strong research, analytical and critical thinking skills.
• High initiative and ability to work independently to achieve objectives.
• Positive attitude and works well in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Analyze client data as received, identify data deficiencies and remediation.
• Draft statements of work outlining the conversion process to Corebridge Financial data requirements.
• Collaborate with record-keepers, project management and client data end users.
• Communicate data requirements clearly with client and project team.
• Develop tools to transform large data sets into product formats.
• Maintain and enhance existing client service solutions.
• Execute conversions with high quality and on-time results.
