Job summary

Corebridge Financial is hiring a Corebridge Consultant in Houston to support Retirement Manager at the group level. You will provide responsive and proactive service, acting as a subject matter expert and influencer to drive continual improvement in processes and client outcomes.

You will partner with Relationship Managers, Account Managers, and external partners to manage underwriting, deconversion, vendor mergers, and contract terms, while handling communications and data entry with accuracy

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
• 5+ years of related experience is required.
• Excellent communication skills, including verbal, written, interpersonal and presentation.
• Proficient with computer software.
• Ability to analyze data, identify root causes, and provide and/or develop an appropriate solution for resolution.
• Proven experience handling multiple priorities.
• Proactive problem-solving ability with solutions-oriented demeanor.
• Ability to work independently within a team and make decisions while considering client requirements.

Responsibilities

• Process Management: Responsible for Retirement Manager underwriting process, including initial and renewal agreements, annual billing, business case reviews, and RF P bid reviews.
• Manage Retirement Manager deconversion and termination while partnering with Corebridge and vendors for transition.
• Manage Retirement Manager vendor mergers and acquisitions.
• Manage Retirement Manager contract agreements for groups.
• Work closely with Relationship Manager, ongoing Account Manager, and various internal and external business partners.
• Manage incoming plan sponsor emails and phone calls as a backup.
• Identify out of scope services and elevate to management as needed.
• Identify training needs and elevate to management as needed.
• Data Entry: Enter data timely and accurately into the ongoing services database as required.
• Update ongoing services database to ensure reports are accurate.
• Teamwork: Utilize team resources to optimize results.
• Continually seek and share Subject Matter Expertise with the team to ensure cross functional processing.
