Job summary

Restaurant365 is seeking a seasoned Manager, Payroll Data Implementation, to lead a cross-functional team responsible for end-to-end payroll data onboarding, validation, and stabilization across the product portfolio.

You will own metrics, drive process improvements, collaborate with Tax/Compliance, Payroll Ops, Product, and Engineering, and build scalable controls while coaching a high-performing team in a hybrid, on-site-first environment.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership managing implementation, payroll ops, data, or related teams.
• Hands-on payroll data migration, validation, and data quality control.
• Strong knowledge of payroll tax concepts and multi-jurisdiction scenarios.
• Ability to define KPIs, service levels, and drive continuous improvement.
• Advanced project, change, and operating-model management skills.
• Experience with automation tools to streamline onboarding workflows.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management across diverse audiences.
• Ownership mindset with strong problem-solving in fast-changing environments.
• Eagerness to use AI in daily work and grow team AI capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Define and own vision, strategy, and roadmap for Payroll Data Implementation across products.
• Translate goals into actionable plans, metrics, and processes for the team.
• Establish and refine KPIs, SLAs, readiness, and client outcomes with cross-functional partners.
• Represent Data Implementation in cross-functional forums with Payroll Ops, Tax, Product, and Eng.
• Hire, lead, and develop a high-performing team with succession planning.
• Provide coaching and performance reviews, focusing on technical and soft skills.
• Foster a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Create career paths and training on payroll products, data validation, and automation.
