OnPay, a fast-growing payroll software company based in Atlanta, seeks an Implementation Analyst to join the Implementation Team. You will onboard new clients by migrating, auditing, and configuring historical payroll data to ensure accurate first payrolls and full tax compliance.

You will validate wage data, configure tax setups and local rules, and work across onboarding to resolve complex tax issues while documenting SOPs and maintaining detailed audit trails for compliance.

Formación

• 1–3 years of dedicated experience in payroll tax processing, payroll auditing, or payroll tax resolution, with demonstrated expertise in payroll implementation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or equivalent experience, preferred.
• CPP or FPC certification, preferred.
• Strong understanding of US payroll fundamentals, including YTD accumulation, tax withholdings (Federal, State, Local), FUTA/SUTA, and year-end reporting (W-2s).
• Meticulous accuracy when handling numerical data and financial records; strong spot-checking and auditing capabilities.

Responsabilidades

• Extract, clean, transform, and load payroll data from client legacy systems into our payroll platform.
• Audit and reconcile wage entries against tax filings to ensure total balance accuracy.
• Configure employee tax setups, local jurisdictions, and deduction/earning accumulators.
• Conduct testing and historical variance analysis to identify and resolve discrepancies prior to go-live.
• Partner with Onboarding Coordinators to troubleshoot complex tax setups or multi-state wage adjustments.
• Identify patterns in data errors and document best practices to improve SOPs for data migration.
• Maintain detailed documentation and audit trails.
• Stay current on changing payroll tax legislation affecting amendments and filing guidelines.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
