Qualifications

• Minimum 2-4 years of related work experience.
• Knowledge of cost accounting.
• Experience with certified payroll/Davis Bacon Act.
• Proficient in Timberline and various other accounting software.

Responsibilities

• Review and process weekly payroll accurately and timely.
• Verify timesheets for completeness and accuracy.
• Coordinate weekly check distribution and mailings.
• Maintain and update personnel files per policies.
• Enter new hires into the system and support onboarding.
• Prepare and submit certified payroll per rules.
• Record and pay payroll taxes/liabilities.
• Reconcile employee benefit deductions with invoices.
• Handle adjustments and layoffs as needed.
• Complete employment verifications as requested.
• Respond to employee inquiries professionally.
