Job summary

Nassal Holdings Inc. in Orlando, FL is seeking a Payroll Coordinator to assist with labor compliance, maintain payroll data, and support full cycle payroll processing. You will prepare reports and assist with year-end tasks, while coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.

The role requires knowledge of payroll processes, statutory laws, and labor agreements, with experience in payroll software and accounting systems. Regular full-time employment with robust benefits is offered.

Qualifications

• Postsecondary degree or diploma in a related discipline is an asset.
• Certified Payroll Professional designation is an asset (U.S.).
• Some co-op experience or 1 year of payroll or timekeeping experience is an asset.
• Knowledge of payroll processes, statutory laws and labor agreements.
• Experience with job cost accounting and general ledgers.
• Experience with preparation, reconciliation and submission of remittances.
• Working knowledge of payroll and accounting software.
• Experience using Microsoft Office Suite and internal systems.

Responsibilities

• Assists with interpretation of labor agreements and statutes to ensure compliance.
• Maintains all employee payroll information for accuracy.
• Maintains payroll system setup tasks (New Year amounts, rates, etc.).
• Assists in full cycle payroll processing and balance allocations.
• Prepares periodic reports and fillings as required.
• Prepares payroll information for current or terminated employees.
• Ensures transactions (new hires, LOA, job code changes, terminations) are processed timely.
