Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, human resources, or a related field.
• Minimum of two years of payroll experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication and attention to detail are required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and payroll systems; experience with payroll software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process the organization’s biweekly payroll accurately and on schedule.
• Review changes including new hires, terminations, transfers, and deductions for accuracy.
• Prepare and process off-cycle payrolls and year-end adjustments.
• Maintain payroll records and support reporting for audits and grants.
• Assist with payroll tax filings and Forms W-2 as directed by Payroll Supervisor.
• Contribute to system testing and data validation for timekeeping/payroll systems.
