Job summary

Transitions Healthcare Allens Cove is seeking a Payroll Coordinator to assist in coordinating employee data for payroll processing across multiple states in Pennsylvania. You will enter new hires, update records, review time sheets, and ensure accurate deductions and timely payroll submissions.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of payroll experience preferred.
• General knowledge of multi-state payroll, employment guidelines and income tax laws.
• Demonstrated knowledge and operation of Windows-based PCs and Microsoft Office packages.
• Experience with Paycore (Workforce Now) is a plus.
• Excellent organization and time management skills.
• Strong data entry skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment coordinating multiple projects.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in entering all new hires into payroll and related systems.
• Assist in entering employee changes into payroll.
• Review payroll time sheets to detect and reconcile discrepancies.
• Prepare and upload file feeds from benefit vendors for payroll deductions.
• Process unemployment, tax withholding, and garnishments based on payroll data.
• Prepare and distribute monthly payroll reports to department leaders, finance and HR.
