Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge of payroll processing and tax laws.
• Ability to accurately enter and maintain employee data in payroll systems.
• Strong analytical skills to reconcile payroll reports and resolve discrepancies.
• Excellent communication skills to explain payroll-related issues to employees.
• Familiarity with HRIS and payroll-related software.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and protect sensitive employee information.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of payroll processing.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing regulations and policies related to payroll.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate and timely processing of weekly employee payroll
• Verify and reconcile payroll data to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
• Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll and provide exceptional customer service
• Coordinates with HR to maintain employee records related to payroll, including new hire paperwork, status changes, and termination documentation
• Prepare payroll reports for management and finance department
• Stay up to date on payroll regulations and best practices to ensure compliance and recommend process improvements
• Review and Audit year end W2’s
• Monthly payroll liability reconciliations
• Backup and support other roles as needed
