Qualifications

• 2+ years of payroll processing experience in a medium to large organization.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred) or equivalent work experience.
• Experience with payroll software (e.g., ADP, BambooHR, Paycom) and strong Excel skills.
• Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail to ensure payroll accuracy.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to work cross-functionally with HR and finance teams.
• In-depth knowledge of payroll compliance regulations and labor/tax laws.
• High level of discretion with confidential employee information.

Responsibilities

• Process full payroll cycle, including timekeeping, wage calculations, and deductions.
• Ensure payroll compliance with applicable laws and company policies.
• Calculate and file federal, state, and local payroll taxes.
• Address employee inquiries regarding pay, deductions, and benefits.
• Generate payroll reports for management review.
• Assist with payroll audits and maintain up-to-date records.
• Collaborate with HR and benefits teams to manage benefit deductions and contributions.
