Job summary

Reyes Holdings, L.L.C. is seeking a Payroll Specialist to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing for on-site employees at our Rosemont office.

The role handles weekly and bi-weekly cycles while ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and collective bargaining agreements. The successful candidate will work with HRIS systems, mentor teammates, and manage payroll adjustments, deductions, and final checks during separations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED with 0–2 years related experience.
• College degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely, accurate payroll processing in compliance with regulations as a Payroll Specialist.
• Manage and oversee the processing of multiple weekly and bi‑weekly payrolls, ensuring compliance with collective bargaining agreements.
• Guarantee accuracy and timeliness of payroll while adhering to federal and state regulations.
• Analyze payroll issues and implement corrective actions to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Collaborate with HRIS to maintain system integrity during payroll setup and updates.
• Provide training and mentorship to team members; lead local training sessions as needed.
• Oversee salary adjustments, deductions, bonuses, and payroll accounting, including final checks for separations.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job description

This role requires candidates to be on-site 5 days a week (M-F) at our Rosemont Office.

Position Responsibilities:

• Ensure timely, accurate payroll processing in compliance with government regulations as a Payroll Specialist
• Manage and oversee the processing of multiple weekly and bi-weekly payrolls, ensuring full compliance with Collective Bargaining Agreements and contractual obligations
• Guarantee the accuracy and timeliness of payroll processing while strictly adhering to all relevant federal and state regulations
• Conduct thorough analysis of payroll issues, recommending and implementing corrective actions to improve efficiency and accuracy as a Payroll Specialist via MyTime
• Collaborate effectively with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) to maintain system integrity and ensure compliance during payroll setup and updates
• Provide comprehensive training and mentorship to team members, facilitating local training sessions as needed to enhance team skills and knowledge
• Oversee and manage salary adjustments, deductions, bonuses, and payroll accounting, including the processing of final checks for both voluntary and involuntary employee separations
• Other duties as assigned

Required Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma/General Education Diploma with 0 to 2 years of related experience

Preferred Education and Experience:

• College Degree
• Experience with UKG or Kronos Timekeeping System
