Job summary

Priority-1, Inc. in Little Rock, AR is seeking a Payroll Compliance Specialist to ensure accurate and timely compensation payments.

You will collect timekeeping data, calculate pay including leaves and overtime, and resolve discrepancies while updating payroll records. Qualifications include a Bachelor’s in accounting, 2+ years payroll experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency with Word and Excel; knowledge of Workday is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting is required.
• 2+ years of payroll experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Analytical with strong attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Knowledge of Workday is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collect timekeeping information for applicable employees.
• Calculate compensation according to hours worked, leaves, and overtime.
• Resolve payroll discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information.
• Update employee payroll records with changes in exemptions, insurance, and deductions.
• Conduct payroll audits and respond to payroll inquiries.
• Maintain confidentiality of payroll information and communicate anomalies to management.
