Job summary

Priority-1, Inc. is seeking a Payroll Compliance Specialist in Little Rock, AR to ensure accurate and timely compensation for employees. The role reports to the Payroll Supervisor and supports the payroll function in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Key duties include collecting timekeeping data, calculating pay including leaves and overtime, auditing payroll records, and resolving discrepancies. The ideal candidate has a bachelor's in accounting and solid Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting required or preferred.
• 2+ years of payroll experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Analytical with strong attention to detail.
• Proficient in Word and Excel; knowledge of Workday is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collecting and verifying timekeeping information for all applicable employees.
• Calculating compensation according to hours worked, leaves, and overtime.
• Resolving payroll discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information.
• Updating payroll records with exemptions, insurance, deductions, and transfers.
• Conducting payroll audits and answering employee payroll inquiries.
• Maintaining confidentiality and integrity of employee payroll information.
• Communicating with management on timekeeping anomalies.
