Job summary

Giti Tire Manufacturing is seeking a Payroll Clerk to support accurate and timely processing of bi-weekly payroll for hourly employees. This role reviews timekeeping, reconciles data, and maintains records.

You will collaborate with Accounting and Human Resources, prepare reports, resolve timekeeping issues, and contribute to payroll process improvements while upholding confidentiality in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• Prior payroll/timekeeping, accounting, or HR administrative experience preferred.
• Manufacturing payroll experience is a plus.
• Experience with ADP payroll is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review, edit, and verify daily time punches for hourly employees to ensure accurate records.
• Process bi-weekly payroll for hourly employees following policies and schedules.
• Review payroll data to identify missing or erroneous information and coordinate corrections.
• Maintain payroll systems, employee records, and related documentation.
• Assist employees and managers with payroll questions professionally and timely.
• Consult with senior Accounting and HR staff on complex payroll transactions and discrepancies.
• Assist with payroll controls, audits, and preparing documentation for auditors.
• Perform payroll account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare monthly analysis of overtime, vacation liabilities, and holiday accruals.
• Analyze payroll data to identify trends and opportunities for improvements.
• Prepare payroll and management reports for leadership.
• Utilize Excel to analyze payroll data and reconcile.
• Read and apply company policies and payroll guidelines.
• Maintain employee files and payroll documentation.
• Perform general administrative duties and maintain confidentiality.
