Job summary

Giti Tire Manufacturing seeks a Payroll Clerk to support accurate, timely payroll for hourly staff. The role processes bi-weekly payroll, verifies timekeeping, and reconciles payroll data in a confidential, detail-oriented environment.

You will work with HR and Accounting to resolve discrepancies and prepare reports and analyses. The ideal candidate has an associate degree and experience with payroll systems, Excel, and manufacturing environments.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in a related field with payroll exposure.
• Experience with a payroll system and timekeeping processes preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to analyze payroll data.
• Manufacturing payroll experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review, edit, and verify daily time punches for hourly workforce.
• Process bi-weekly payroll for hourly employees.
• Identify missing or erroneous payroll data and coordinate corrections.
• Maintain payroll records and related documentation with accuracy.
• Assist employees and managers with payroll questions promptly.
• Consult with senior Accounting and HR staff on complex payroll matters.
• Assist with payroll controls, audits, and reporting for auditors.
• Prepare monthly analysis of overtime, vacation liabilities, and other expenses.
• Analyze payroll and timekeeping data to identify trends and improve accuracy.
• Generate payroll reports for management and reconcile data with Excel.
