OREMOR Automotive Group is seeking an Onsite Payroll Clerk in California. The role demands accurate semi-monthly payroll processing for hourly, technicians, sales, and exempt staff, plus data maintenance and payroll problem support.

We welcome recent graduates and offer growth in a family‑oriented automotive group. You'll interface with ADP Workforce Now, provide clear payroll support to employees and managers, and contribute to payroll and HR projects as part of a collaborative team.

Responsibilities

• Prepares semi-monthly payroll for hourly, technicians, sales, commissions, and exempt staff.
• Interfaces with ADP Payroll Dealer Services.
• Maintains and updates employee data including new hires and terminations.
• Provides customer service to employees and managers explaining paycheck calculations.
• Assists with HR and payroll-related projects as needed.

We are seeking to fill an Onsite Payroll position with a Curious and Self-Motivated Payroll Clerk.

This role has a need for a strong analytical sense and be someone who wants to build a career as an expert automotive Payroll and HR professional.

• JOB RESPONSIBILITIES (included but not limited to):

  • Prepares, reviews, and processes semi-monthly payroll for hourly, technicians, sales, commission, and exempt dealership employees.
  • Manage various responsibilities and play diverse roles in Payroll.
  • Enters/Interfaces with ADP Payroll Dealer Services.
  • Maintains and enters employee information, including new hires, terminations, and changes.
  • Provide customer service to employees, managers, and dealership personnel to explain check calculations.
  • Provide calculations for check corrections or manual checks.
  • Assists Manager and team members with various human resources and payroll-related projects.

Qualifications

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Willing to learn all aspects of processing Payroll.
• Ability to manage various responsibilities and play diverse roles.
• ADP (WFN) Workforce Now experience preferred.
• Must possess good organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Must be detail-oriented and able to multi-task.
• Must have good work ethics, including maintaining a neat work area and good attendance.

WORK OR EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

• No Experience Necessary we are willing to train.
• Looking for a recent or upcoming graduate that is looking for their first corporate position to begin their career.
